UNIFORM MOVEMENT

UNIFORM MOVEMENT - CONSTANT SPEED

CHRONOPHOTOGRAPHY

Description: Principle of the parachute. An object for which the air friction is not negligible compared to the weight can "drop" at constant speed. Friction forces increase with speed and when they exactly compensate for the weight, the mobile has reached a limit speed, which it maintains.

Definition
Uniform rectilinear motion: The object moves in a straight line at a constant speed.
