Description: The interactivity of the animation makes it possible to measure masses, solids and liquids. We use a Roberval balance, then an electronic scale.
Mass balance: also known as mass scales, or simply scales, balances, or balance scales. The traditional scale consists of two plates or bowls suspended at equal distances from a fulcrum. One plate holds an object of unknown mass (or weight), while known masses are added to the other plate. Today, in the laboratory, we use digital scales.
